This virtual workshop assists appraiser in learning about valuing renewable energy facilities.

Workshop discussion will include:

• Data and Challenges: Includes data necessary to evaluate valuation impact of renewable energy sources, if any, and challenges with evaluation of the data
• Descriptions of Solar Energy and Wind Energy, discussion of other renewable energy sources.
• Consumer Considerations: What do consumers consider, then deciding if green energy is a viable alternative to traditional fuel sources.
• Market Influences: Discussion of influences related to green energy impact market value.
• Guidance on Valuation: Methodologies considered, application of the three approaches to value for green energy.
• Valuation Considerations: What external influences exist that have an impact on the market value of property.

Registration Fees

Registration fees must reflect current TAAD-IAAO Chapter membership. If you are a member of TAAD but not the TAAD-IAAO Chapter, please pay the non-member rate. The Zoom link will be sent to registrants the day before. Must be registered to attend/view, whether or not individual needs credit.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Requests for refunds must be in writing and submitted in writing by November 25, 2024; a $75 cancellation fee will be deducted.  No refunds for cancellations later than November 25, 2024.
