The TAAD Chapter of IAAO seeks to raise the standards of the assessment profession, gain recognition for the assessment profession, educate the public regarding the ad valorem tax system, and provide a clearinghouse for the collection and distribution of information beneficial to members and nonmembers alike. This chapter also seeks to address advanced professional development education needs by working with IAAO to ensure that such educational opportunities are available in Texas.
